1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BarberBook platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all users including barbershop owners, barbers, and clients.

2. Description of Service

BarberBook is an online platform that connects clients with barbershops for appointment booking. We provide tools for barbershop owners to manage their business, including scheduling, client records, and staff management. BarberBook is not a barbershop and does not employ barbers.

3. Shop Owner Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering your shop
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must verify your business phone number to activate your shop
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• BarberBook reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Subscription and Billing

• Shop owners must subscribe to a paid plan to use the Service after the free trial period
• The free trial period is 14 days from the date of registration
• Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by law
• BarberBook reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension of your shop

5. Client Bookings

• Clients must provide a valid phone number to make a booking
• Clients are responsible for arriving on time for their appointments
• Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may be marked as late cancellations
• BarberBook is not responsible for disputes between clients and barbershops
• Services and pricing are set by individual barbershops and may vary

6. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from BarberBook for the purpose of phone number verification. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. See our Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your data.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
• Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission

8. Intellectual Property

The BarberBook platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by BarberBook and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

BarberBook is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Shop owners may cancel their subscription through the billing page. BarberBook reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
